The Islamic Society of Central Pennsylvania

Islamic Society of Central Pennsylvania (ISCP) began as a small prayer area in a rented apartment in 1982. As the community grew there was a need for an established facility and the current Masjid building was purchased in 1987. The ISCP provides many services to the Muslim community in Central PA and the surrounding areas. Examples include Friday prayers, regular Islamic classes/ halaqas, outreach programs to non-Muslim community, weekend Islamic school, chaplaincy services to Muslim inmates and plenty of other special programs.

The Masjid is the central point around which many community and student activities revolve. We work closely with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) to serve the Muslim student community at the Pennsylvania State University (PSU).
