Assalamu Alaykum,
Please take note of the following announcements:
1. The Eid Salah will take place at Sunset park at 7 am sharp on Monday, July 28. You may miss the salah if you do not come on time.
2. Zakat-al-Fitr is $10 per person in the family. The masjid will distribute the money to the needy on your behalf. You may either give the money to the President (Abu Murad), myself (Husain), or you can put it in a donation box in a plain white envelope with “Fitr” written on it. You must give the money before Maghrib on Sunday July 27 (last day of Ramadan). We will not accept money on the day of Eid for this purpose. Please make sure to pay on time because this is a requirement of our deen.
3. The 20th fast occurs on July 17. This means the 21 night of Ramadan is the night of July 17. As we know from hadith, we should seek Lalayatul Qadr during the last 10 nights of Ramadan, especially during the odd nights. Please keep your all the muslimeen in your duas.
